Many people have asked “why chose the name Good Noze.”   Simple. It is recognizing the superpowers that pets possess when it comes to the sense of smell. For example a dogs’ sense of smell is in the order of 10,000 to 100,000 greater than ours.  To put this in perspective ponder this…….. If you make the analogy to vision what you and I can see at 100 meters away, a dog could see more than 5,000 kms away. Mind boggling!

A modern example of this is the cancer sniffing dog. It insisted that there was melanoma in a spot that the surgeons had pronounced cancer free. A subsequent biopsy found melanoma in a fraction of the cells.

So next time you start salivating over the smell of freshly brewed coffee spare a thought for your pets and their olfactory joys. Serve up Good Noze and marvel at the enjoyment it brings to the breakfast table.
